Language points

忍得住 and 忍不住

Between 忍 and 住 you slip in 得 or 不: 忍得住 (to manage to hold back), 忍不住 (to fail to). 住 marks here that the action holds firm, that it takes hold, and it works the same way in 记住 (to memorise), 拿住 (to hold tight), 站住 (to stop dead). It is one of the most productive complements of result in the language.

头两个星期: the first, not the head

Before a number, 头 means "the first": 头两个星期, 头三天, 头一次. It is not replaced by 第一, which names a single rank. English says "the first two weeks" with the ordinal before the number; Chinese puts 头 in front, and the word order is all that changes.

Kilos and jin, two counts that do not mix

The 斤 is five hundred grams and is used at the market; a doctor's scales count in 公斤, kilograms. A Chinese person talking about their weight often says 斤 in ordinary conversation and 公斤 at the doctor's, and the number doubles from one sentence to the next. Chen Hao is reporting a consultation here, hence 六公斤: six kilos.
