| 1 | 论亚扪人。耶和华如此说，以色列没有儿子吗？没有后嗣吗？玛勒堪为何得迦得之地为业呢？属他的民为何住其中的城邑呢？ | Concerning the Ammonites, thus saith the LORD; Hath Israel no sons? hath he no heir? why then doth their king inherit Gad, and his people dwell in his cities? |
| 2 | 耶和华说，日子将到，我必使人听见打仗的喊声，是攻击亚扪人拉巴的喊声。拉巴要成为乱堆。属她的乡村（原文作女子）要被火焚烧。先前得以色列地为业的，此时以色列倒要得他们的地为业。这是耶和华说的。 | Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will cause an alarm of war to be heard in Rabbah of the Ammonites; and it shall be a desolate heap, and her daughters shall be burned with fire: then shall Israel be heir unto them that were his heirs, saith the LORD. |
| 3 | 希实本哪，你要哀号，因为爱地变为荒场。拉巴的居民哪（居民原文作女子），要呼喊，以麻布束腰。要哭号，在篱笆中跑来跑去。因玛勒堪和属他的祭司，首领要一同被掳去。 | Howl, O Heshbon, for Ai is spoiled: cry, ye daughters of Rabbah, gird you with sackcloth; lament, and run to and fro by the hedges; for their king shall go into captivity, and his priests and his princes together. |
| 4 | 背道的民哪（民原文作女子），你们为何因有山谷，就是水流的山谷夸张呢？为何倚靠财宝说，谁能来到我们这里呢？ | Wherefore gloriest thou in the valleys, thy flowing valley, O backsliding daughter? that trusted in her treasures, saying, Who shall come unto me? |
| 5 | 主万军之耶和华说，我要使恐吓从四围的人中临到你们。你们必被赶出，各人一直前往，没有人收聚逃民。 | Behold, I will bring a fear upon thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts, from all those that be about thee; and ye shall be driven out every man right forth; and none shall gather up him that wandereth. |
| 6 | 后来我还要使被掳的亚扪人归回。这是耶和华说的。 | And afterward I will bring again the captivity of the children of Ammon, saith the LORD. |
| 7 | 论以东。万军之耶和华如此说，提幔中再没有智慧吗？明哲人不再有谋略吗？他们的智慧尽归无有吗？ | Concerning Edom, thus saith the LORD of hosts; Is wisdom no more in Teman? is counsel perished from the prudent? is their wisdom vanished? |
| 8 | 底但的居民哪，要转身逃跑，住在深密处。因为我向以扫追讨的时候，必使灾殃临到他。 | Flee ye, turn back, dwell deep, O inhabitants of Dedan; for I will bring the calamity of Esau upon him, the time that I will visit him. |
| 9 | 摘葡萄的若来到他那里，岂不剩下些葡萄呢？盗贼若夜间而来，岂不毁坏直到够了呢？ | If grapegatherers come to thee, would they not leave some gleaning grapes? if thieves by night, they will destroy till they have enough. |
| 10 | 我却使以扫赤露，显出他的隐密处。他不能自藏。他的后裔，弟兄，邻舍尽都灭绝。他也归于无有。 | But I have made Esau bare, I have uncovered his secret places, and he shall not be able to hide himself: his seed is spoiled, and his brethren, and his neighbours, and he is not. |
| 11 | 你撇下孤儿，我必保全他们的命。你的寡妇可以倚靠我。 | Leave thy fatherless children, I will preserve them alive; and let thy widows trust in me. |
| 12 | 耶和华如此说，原不该喝那杯的一定要喝。你能尽免刑罚吗？你必不能免，一定要喝。 | For thus saith the LORD; Behold, they whose judgment was not to drink of the cup have assuredly drunken; and art thou he that shall altogether go unpunished? thou shalt not go unpunished, but thou shalt surely drink of it. |
| 13 | 耶和华说，我指着自己起誓，波斯拉必令人惊骇，羞辱，咒诅，并且荒凉。她的一切城邑必变为永远的荒场。 | For I have sworn by myself, saith the LORD, that Bozrah shall become a desolation, a reproach, a waste, and a curse; and all the cities thereof shall be perpetual wastes. |
| 14 | 我从耶和华那里听见信息，并有使者被差往列国去，说，你们聚集来攻击以东，要起来争战。 | I have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent unto the heathen, saying, Gather ye together, and come against her, and rise up to the battle. |
| 15 | 我使你在列国中为最小，在世人中被藐视。 | For, lo, I will make thee small among the heathen, and despised among men. |
| 16 | 住在山穴中据守山顶的阿，论到你的威吓，你因心中的狂傲自欺。你虽如大鹰高高搭窝，我却从那里拉下你来。这是耶和华说的。 | Thy terribleness hath deceived thee, and the pride of thine heart, O thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, that holdest the height of the hill: though thou shouldest make thy nest as high as the eagle, I will bring thee down from thence, saith the LORD. |
| 17 | 以东必令人惊骇。凡经过的人就受惊骇，又因她一切的灾祸嗤笑。 | Also Edom shall be a desolation: every one that goeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss at all the plagues thereof. |
| 18 | 耶和华说，必无人住在那里，也无人在其中寄居，要像所多玛，蛾摩拉，和邻近的城邑倾覆的时候一样。 | As in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the LORD, no man shall abide there, neither shall a son of man dwell in it. |
| 19 | 仇敌必像狮子从约旦河边的丛林上来，攻击坚固的居所。转眼之间，我要使以东人逃跑，离开这地。谁蒙拣选，我就派谁治理这地。谁能比我呢？谁能给我定规日期呢？有何牧人能在我面前站立得住呢？ | Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan against the habitation of the strong: but I will suddenly make him run away from her: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for who is like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before me? |
| 20 | 你们要听耶和华攻击以东所说的谋略和他攻击提幔居民所定的旨意。仇敌定要将他们群众微弱的拉去，定要使他们的居所荒凉。 | Therefore hear the counsel of the LORD, that he hath taken against Edom; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitations desolate with them. |
| 21 | 因他们仆倒的声音，地就震动。人在红海那里必听见呼喊的声音。 | The earth is moved at the noise of their fall, at the cry the noise thereof was heard in the Red sea. |
| 22 | 仇敌必如大鹰飞起，展开翅膀攻击波斯拉。到那日，以东的勇士心中疼痛如临产的妇人。 | Behold, he shall come up and fly as the eagle, and spread his wings over Bozrah: and at that day shall the heart of the mighty men of Edom be as the heart of a woman in her pangs. |
| 23 | 论大马色。哈马和亚珥拔蒙羞，因他们听见凶恶的信息就消化了。海上有忧愁，不得平静。 | Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet. |
| 24 | 大马色发软，转身逃跑。战兢将她捉住。痛苦忧愁将她抓住，如产难的妇人一样。 | Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to flee, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail. |
| 25 | 我所喜乐可称赞的城，为何被撇弃了呢？ | How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy! |
| 26 | 她的少年人必仆倒在街上。当那日，一切兵丁必默默无声。这是万军之耶和华说的。 | Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the LORD of hosts. |
| 27 | 我必在大马色城中使火着起，烧灭便哈达的宫殿。 | And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall consume the palaces of Benhadad. |
| 28 | 论巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒所攻打的基达和夏琐的诸国。耶和华如此说，迦勒底人哪，起来上基达去，毁灭东方人。 | Concerning Kedar, and concerning the kingdoms of Hazor, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon shall smite, thus saith the LORD; Arise ye, go up to Kedar, and spoil the men of the east. |
| 29 | 他们的帐棚和羊群都要夺去，将幔子和一切器皿，并骆驼为自己掠去。人向他们喊着说，四围都有惊吓。 | Their tents and their flocks shall they take away: they shall take to themselves their curtains, and all their vessels, and their camels; and they shall cry unto them, Fear is on every side. |
| 30 | 耶和华说，夏琐的居民哪，要逃奔远方，住在深密处。因为巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒设计谋害你们，起意攻击你们。 | Flee, get you far off, dwell deep, O ye inhabitants of Hazor, saith the LORD; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath taken counsel against you, and hath conceived a purpose against you. |
| 31 | 耶和华说，迦勒底人哪，起来。上安逸无虑的居民那里去。他们是无门无闩，独自居住的。 | Arise, get you up unto the wealthy nation, that dwelleth without care, saith the LORD, which have neither gates nor bars, which dwell alone. |
| 32 | 他们的骆驼必成为掠物。他们众多的牲畜必成为掳物。我必将剃周围头发的人分散四方（方原文作风），使灾殃从四围临到他们。这是耶和华说的。 | And their camels shall be a booty, and the multitude of their cattle a spoil: and I will scatter into all winds them that are in the utmost corners; and I will bring their calamity from all sides thereof, saith the LORD. |
| 33 | 夏琐必成为野狗的住处，永远凄凉。必无人住在那里，也无人在其中寄居。 | And Hazor shall be a dwelling for dragons, and a desolation for ever: there shall no man abide there, nor any son of man dwell in it. |
| 34 | 犹大王西底家登基的时候，耶和华论以拦的话临到先知耶利米说， | The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against Elam in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying, |
| 35 | 万军之耶和华如此说，我必折断以拦人的弓，就是他们为首的权力。 | Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might. |
| 36 | 我要使四风从天的四方刮来，临到以拦人，将他们分散四方（方原文作风）。这被赶散的人没有一国不到的。 | And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come. |
| 37 | 耶和华说，我必使以拦人在仇敌和寻索其命的人面前惊惶。我也必使灾祸，就是我的烈怒临到他们，又必使刀剑追杀他们，直到将他们灭尽。 | For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, saith the LORD; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them: |
| 38 | 我要在以拦设立我的宝座，从那里除灭君王和首领。这是耶和华说的。 | And I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from thence the king and the princes, saith the LORD. |
| 39 | 到末后，我还要使被掳的以拦人归回。这是耶和华说的。 | But it shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring again the captivity of Elam, saith the LORD. |
