| 1 | 以利户又说， | Furthermore Elihu answered and said, |
| 2 | 你们智慧人，要听我的话。有知识的人，要留心听我说。 | Hear my words, O ye wise men; and give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge. |
| 3 | 因为耳朵试验话语，好像上膛尝食物。 | For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat. |
| 4 | 我们当选择何为是，彼此知道何为善。 | Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good. |
| 5 | 约伯曾说，我是公义，神夺去我的理。 | For Job hath said, I am righteous: and God hath taken away my judgment. |
| 6 | 我虽有理，还算为说谎言的。我虽无过，受的伤还不能医治。 | Should I lie against my right? my wound is incurable without transgression. |
| 7 | 谁像约伯，喝讥诮如同喝水呢？ | What man is like Job, who drinketh up scorning like water? |
| 8 | 他与作孽的结伴，和恶人同行。 | Which goeth in company with the workers of iniquity, and walketh with wicked men. |
| 9 | 他说，人以神为乐，总是无益。 | For he hath said, It profiteth a man nothing that he should delight himself with God. |
| 10 | 所以你们明理的人，要听我的话。神断不至行恶，全能者断不至作孽。 | Therefore hearken unto me ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity. |
| 11 | 他必按人所作的报应人，使各人照所行的得报。 | For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways. |
| 12 | 神必不作恶，全能者也不偏离公平。 | Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment. |
| 13 | 谁派他治理地，安定全世界呢？ | Who hath given him a charge over the earth? or who hath disposed the whole world? |
| 14 | 他若专心为己，将灵和气收归自己。 | If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath; |
| 15 | 凡有血气的就必一同死亡，世人必仍归尘土。 | All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust. |
| 16 | 你若明理，就当听我的话，留心听我言语的声音。 | If now thou hast understanding, hear this: hearken to the voice of my words. |
| 17 | 难道恨恶公平的可以掌权吗？那有公义的，有大能的，岂可定他有罪吗？ | Shall even he that hateth right govern? and wilt thou condemn him that is most just? |
| 18 | 他对君王说，你是鄙陋的。对贵臣说，你是邪恶的。 | Is it fit to say to a king, Thou art wicked? and to princes, Ye are ungodly? |
| 19 | 他待王子不徇情面，也不看重富足的过于贫穷的，因为都是他手所造。 | How much less to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich more than the poor? for they all are the work of his hands. |
| 20 | 在转眼之间，半夜之中，他们就死亡。百姓被震动而去世。有权力的被夺去非借人手。 | In a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass away: and the mighty shall be taken away without hand. |
| 21 | 神注目观看人的道路，看明人的脚步。 | For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings. |
| 22 | 没有黑暗，阴翳能给作孽的藏身。 | There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves. |
| 23 | 神审判人，不必使人到他面前再三鉴察。 | For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God. |
| 24 | 他用难测之法，打破有能力的人，设立别人代替他们。 | He shall break in pieces mighty men without number, and set others in their stead. |
| 25 | 他原知道他们的行为，使他们在夜间倾倒灭亡。 | Therefore he knoweth their works, and he overturneth them in the night, so that they are destroyed. |
| 26 | 他在众人眼前击打他们，如同击打恶人一样。 | He striketh them as wicked men in the open sight of others; |
| 27 | 因为他们偏行不跟从他，也不留心他的道， | Because they turned back from him, and would not consider any of his ways: |
| 28 | 甚至使贫穷人的哀声，达到他那里。他也听了困苦人的哀声。 | So that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto him, and he heareth the cry of the afflicted. |
| 29 | 他使人安静，谁能扰乱（或作定罪）呢？他掩面谁能见他呢？无论待一国，或一人都是如此。 | When he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hideth his face, who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only: |
| 30 | 使不虔敬的人不得作王，免得有人牢笼百姓。 | That the hypocrite reign not, lest the people be ensnared. |
| 31 | 有谁对神说，我受了责罚，不再犯罪。 | Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more: |
| 32 | 我所看不明的，求你指教我。我若作了孽，必不再作。 | That which I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more. |
| 33 | 他施行报应，岂要随你的心愿，叫你推辞不受吗？选定的是你，不是我。你所知道的只管说吧。 | Should it be according to thy mind? he will recompense it, whether thou refuse, or whether thou choose; and not I: therefore speak what thou knowest. |
| 34 | 明理的人，和听我话的智慧人，必对我说。 | Let men of understanding tell me, and let a wise man hearken unto me. |
| 35 | 约伯说话没有知识，言语中毫无智慧。 | Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom. |
| 36 | 愿约伯被试验到底，因他回答像恶人一样。 | My desire is that Job may be tried unto the end because of his answers for wicked men. |
| 37 | 他在罪上又加悖逆。在我们中间拍手，用许多言语轻慢神。 | For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth his hands among us, and multiplieth his words against God. |
