| 1 | 我是因耶和华忿怒的杖,遭遇困苦的人。 | I AM the man that hath seen affliction by the rod of his wrath. |
| 2 | 他引导我,使我行在黑暗中,不行在光明里。 | He hath led me, and brought me into darkness, but not into light. |
| 3 | 他真是终日再三反手攻击我。 | Surely against me is he turned; he turneth his hand against me all the day. |
| 4 | 他使我的皮肉枯干。他折断(或作压伤)我的骨头。 | My flesh and my skin hath he made old; he hath broken my bones. |
| 5 | 他筑垒攻击我,用苦楚(原文作苦胆)和艰难围困我。 | He hath builded against me, and compassed me with gall and travail. |
| 6 | 他使我住在幽暗之处,像死了许久的人一样。 | He hath set me in dark places, as they that be dead of old. |
| 7 | 他用篱笆围住我,使我不能出去。他使我的铜链沉重。 | He hath hedged me about, that I cannot get out: he hath made my chain heavy. |
| 8 | 我哀号求救。他使我的祷告不得上达。 | Also when I cry and shout, he shutteth out my prayer. |
| 9 | 他用凿过的石头挡住我的道。他使我的路弯曲。 | He hath inclosed my ways with hewn stone, he hath made my paths crooked. |
| 10 | 他向我如熊埋伏,如狮子在隐密处。 | He was unto me as a bear lying in wait, and as a lion in secret places. |
| 11 | 他使我转离正路,将我撕碎,使我凄凉。 | He hath turned aside my ways, and pulled me in pieces: he hath made me desolate. |
| 12 | 他张弓将我当作箭靶子。 | He hath bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow. |
| 13 | 他把箭袋中的箭射入我的肺腑。 | He hath caused the arrows of his quiver to enter into my reins. |
| 14 | 我成了众民的笑话。他们终日以我为歌曲。 | I was a derision to all my people; and their song all the day. |
| 15 | 他用苦楚充满我,使我饱用茵陈。 | He hath filled me with bitterness, he hath made me drunken with wormwood. |
| 16 | 他又用沙石碜断我的牙,用灰尘将我蒙蔽。 | He hath also broken my teeth with gravel stones, he hath covered me with ashes. |
| 17 | 你使我远离平安,我忘记好处。 | And thou hast removed my soul far off from peace: I forgat prosperity. |
| 18 | 我就说,我的力量衰败。我在耶和华那里毫无指望。 | And I said, My strength and my hope is perished from the LORD: |
| 19 | 耶和华阿,求你记念我如茵陈和苦胆的困苦窘迫。 | Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall. |
| 20 | 我心想念这些,就在里面忧闷。 | My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me. |
| 21 | 我想起这事,心里就有指望。 | This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. |
| 22 | 我们不至消灭,是出于耶和华诸般的慈爱。是因他的怜悯不至断绝。 | It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. |
| 23 | 每早晨,这都是新的。你的诚实极其广大。 | They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. |
| 24 | 我心里说,耶和华是我的分,因此,我要仰望他。 | The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. |
| 25 | 凡等候耶和华,心里寻求他的,耶和华必施恩给他。 | The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. |
| 26 | 人仰望耶和华,静默等候他的救恩,这原是好的。 | It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. |
| 27 | 人在幼年负轭,这原是好的。 | It is good for a man that he bear the yoke of his youth. |
| 28 | 他当独坐无言,因为这是耶和华加在他身上的。 | He sitteth alone and keepeth silence, because he hath borne it upon him. |
| 29 | 他当口贴尘埃,或者有指望。 | He putteth his mouth in the dust; if so be there may be hope. |
| 30 | 他当由人打他的腮颊,要满受凌辱。 | He giveth his cheek to him that smiteth him: he is filled full with reproach. |
| 31 | 因为主必不永远丢弃人。 | For the LORD will not cast off for ever: |
| 32 | 主虽使人忧愁,还要照他诸般的慈爱发怜悯。 | But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies. |
| 33 | 因他并不甘心使人受苦,使人忧愁。 | For he doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men. |
| 34 | 人将世上被囚的踹(原文作压)在脚下, | To crush under his feet all the prisoners of the earth. |
| 35 | 或在至高者面前屈枉人, | To turn aside the right of a man before the face of the most High, |
| 36 | 或在人的讼事上颠倒是非,这都是主看不上的。 | To subvert a man in his cause, the LORD approveth not. |
| 37 | 除非主命定,谁能说成就成呢? | Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not? |
| 38 | 祸福不都出于至高者的口吗? | Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good? |
| 39 | 活人因自己的罪受罚,为何发怨言呢? | Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins? |
| 40 | 我们当深深考察自己的行为,再归向耶和华。 | Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD. |
| 41 | 我们当诚心向天上的神举手祷告。 | Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens. |
| 42 | 我们犯罪背逆,你并不赦免。 | We have transgressed and have rebelled: thou hast not pardoned. |
| 43 | 你自被怒气遮蔽,追赶我们。你施行杀戮,并不顾惜。 | Thou hast covered with anger, and persecuted us: thou hast slain, thou hast not pitied. |
| 44 | 你以黑云遮蔽自己,以致祷告不得透入。 | Thou hast covered thyself with a cloud, that our prayer should not pass through. |
| 45 | 你使我们在万民中成为污秽和渣滓。 | Thou hast made us as the offscouring and refuse in the midst of the people. |
| 46 | 我们的仇敌都向我们大大张口。 | All our enemies have opened their mouths against us. |
| 47 | 恐惧和陷坑,残害和毁灭,都临近我们。 | Fear and a snare is come upon us, desolation and destruction. |
| 48 | 因我众民遭的毁灭,我就眼泪下流如河。 | Mine eye runneth down with rivers of water for the destruction of the daughter of my people. |
| 49 | 我的眼多多流泪,总不止息, | Mine eye trickleth down, and ceaseth not, without any intermission. |
| 50 | 直等耶和华垂顾,从天观看。 | Till the LORD look down, and behold from heaven. |
| 51 | 因我本城的众民,我的眼,使我的心伤痛。 | Mine eye affecteth mine heart because of all the daughters of my city. |
| 52 | 无故与我为仇的追逼我,像追雀鸟一样。 | Mine enemies chased me sore, like a bird, without cause. |
| 53 | 他们使我的命在牢狱中断绝,并将一块石头抛在我身上。 | They have cut off my life in the dungeon, and cast a stone upon me. |
| 54 | 众水流过我头,我说,我命断绝了。 | Waters flowed over mine head; then I said, I am cut off. |
| 55 | 耶和华阿,我从深牢中求告你的名。 | I called upon thy name, O LORD, out of the low dungeon. |
| 56 | 你曾听见我的声音。我求你解救,你不要掩耳不听。 | Thou hast heard my voice: hide not thine ear at my breathing, at my cry. |
| 57 | 我求告你的日子,你临近我,说,不要惧怕。 | Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon thee: thou saidst, Fear not. |
| 58 | 主阿,你伸明了我的冤。你救赎了我的命。 | O LORD, thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; thou hast redeemed my life. |
| 59 | 耶和华阿,你见了我受的委屈。求你为我伸冤。 | O LORD, thou hast seen my wrong: judge thou my cause. |
| 60 | 他们仇恨我,谋害我,你都看见了。 | Thou hast seen all their vengeance and all their imaginations against me. |
| 61 | 耶和华阿,你听见他们辱骂我的话,知道他们向我所设的计, | Thou hast heard their reproach, O LORD, and all their imaginations against me; |
| 62 | 并那些起来攻击我的人口中所说的话,以及终日向我所设的计谋。 | The lips of those that rose up against me, and their device against me all the day. |
| 63 | 求你观看,他们坐下,起来,都以我为歌曲。 | Behold their sitting down, and their rising up; I am their musick. |
| 64 | 耶和华阿,你要按着他们手所作的向他们施行报应。 | Render unto them a recompence, O LORD, according to the work of their hands. |
| 65 | 你要使他们心里刚硬,使你的咒诅临到他们。 | Give them sorrow of heart, thy curse unto them. |
| 66 | 你要发怒追赶他们,从耶和华的天下除灭他们。 | Persecute and destroy them in anger from under the heavens of the LORD. |
