| 1 | 那时，天国好比十个童女，拿着灯，出去迎接新郎。 | Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. |
| 2 | 其中有五个是愚拙的。五个是聪明的。 | And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. |
| 3 | 愚拙的拿着灯，却不预备油。 | They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: |
| 4 | 聪明的拿着灯，又预备油在器皿里。 | But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. |
| 5 | 新郎迟延的时候，她们都打盹睡着了。 | While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. |
| 6 | 半夜有人喊着说，新郎来了，你们出来迎接他。 | And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. |
| 7 | 那些童女就都起来收拾灯。 | Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. |
| 8 | 愚拙的对聪明的说，请分点油给我们。因为我们的灯要灭了。 | And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. |
| 9 | 聪明的回答说，恐怕不够你我用的。不如你们自己到卖油的那里去买吧。 | But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. |
| 10 | 她们去买的时候，新郎到了。那预备好了的，同他进去坐席。门就关了。 | And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. |
| 11 | 其余的童女，随后也来了，说，主阿，主阿，给我们开门。 | Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. |
| 12 | 他却回答说，我实在告诉你们，我不认识你们。 | But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. |
| 13 | 所以你们要儆醒，因为那日子，那时辰，你们不知道。 | Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. |
| 14 | 天国又好比一个人要往外国去，就叫了仆人来，把他的家业交给他们。 | For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. |
| 15 | 按着各人的才干，给他们银子。一个给了五千，一个给了二千，一个给了一千。就往外国去了。 | And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. |
| 16 | 那领五千的，随即拿去做买卖，另外赚了五千。 | Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. |
| 17 | 那领二千的，也照样另赚了二千。 | And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. |
| 18 | 但那领一千的，去掘开地，把主人的银子埋藏了。 | But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money. |
| 19 | 过了许久，那些仆人的主人来了，和他们算账。 | After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. |
| 20 | 那领五千银子的，又带着那另外的五千来，说，主阿，你交给我五千银子，请看，我又赚了五千。 | And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. |
| 21 | 主人说，好，你这又良善又忠心的仆人。你在不多的事上有忠心，我要把许多事派你管理。可以进来享受你主人的快乐。 | His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. |
| 22 | 那领二千的也来说，主阿，你交给我二千银子，请看，我又赚了二千。 | He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. |
| 23 | 主人说，好，你这又良善又忠心的仆人。你在不多的事上有忠心，我要把许多事派你管理。可以进来享受你主人的快乐。 | His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. |
| 24 | 那领一千的，也来说，主阿，我知道你是忍心的人，没有种的地方要收割，没有散的地方要聚敛。 | Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: |
| 25 | 我就害怕，去把你的一千银子埋藏在地里。请看，你的原银子在这里。 | And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. |
| 26 | 主人回答说，你这又恶又懒的仆人，你既知道我没有种的地方要收割，没有散的地方要聚敛。 | His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: |
| 27 | 就当把我的银子放给兑换银钱的人，到我来的时候，可以连本带利收回。 | Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. |
| 28 | 夺过他这一千来，给那有一万的。 | Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. |
| 29 | 因为凡有的，还要加给他，叫他有余。没有的，连他所有的，也要夺过来。 | For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. |
| 30 | 把这无用的仆人，丢在外面黑暗里。在那里必要哀哭切齿了。 | And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. |
| 31 | 当人子在他荣耀里同着众天使降临的时候，要坐在他荣耀的宝座上。 | When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: |
| 32 | 万民都要聚集在他面前。他要把他们分别出来，好像牧羊的分别绵羊、山羊一般。 | And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: |
| 33 | 把绵羊安置在右边，山羊在左边。 | And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. |
| 34 | 于是王要向那右边的说，你们这蒙我父赐福的，可来承受那创世以来为你们所预备的国。 | Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: |
| 35 | 因为我饿了，你们给我吃。渴了，你们给我喝。我作客旅，你们留我住。 | For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: |
| 36 | 我赤身露体，你们给我穿。我病了，你们看顾我。我在监里，你们来看我。 | Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. |
| 37 | 义人就回答说，主阿，我们什么时候见你饿了给你吃，渴了给你喝？ | Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? |
| 38 | 什么时候见你作客旅留你住，或是赤身露体给你穿？ | When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? |
| 39 | 又什么时候见你病了，或是在监里，来看你呢？ | Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? |
| 40 | 王要回答说，我实在告诉你们，这些事你们既作在我这弟兄中一个最小的身上，就是作在我身上了。 | And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. |
| 41 | 王又要向那左边的说，你们这被咒诅的人，离开我，进入那为魔鬼和他的使者所预备的永火里去。 | Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: |
| 42 | 因为我饿了，你们不给我吃。渴了，你们不给我喝。 | For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: |
| 43 | 我作客旅，你们不留我住。我赤身露体，你们不给我穿。我病了，我在监里，你们不来看顾我。 | I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. |
| 44 | 他们也要回答说，主阿，我们什么时候见你饿了，或渴了，或作客旅，或赤身露体，或病了，或在监里，不伺候你呢？ | Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? |
| 45 | 王要回答说，我实在告诉你们，这些事你们既不作在我这弟兄中一个最小的身上，就是不作在我身上了。 | Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. |
| 46 | 这些人要往永刑里去。那些义人要往永生里去。 | And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. |
