| 1 | 巴兰见耶和华喜欢赐福与以色列，就不像前两次去求法术，却面向旷野。 | And when Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he went not, as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness. |
| 2 | 巴兰举目，看见以色列人照着支派居住。神的灵就临到他身上， | And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel abiding in his tents according to their tribes; and the spirit of God came upon him. |
| 3 | 他便题起诗歌说，比珥的儿子巴兰说，眼目闭住（闭住或作睁开）的人说， | And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said: |
| 4 | 得听神的言语，得见全能者的异象，眼目睁开而仆倒的人说， | He hath said, which heard the words of God, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open: |
| 5 | 雅各阿，你的帐棚何等华美。以色列阿，你的帐幕何其华丽。 | How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, and thy tabernacles, O Israel! |
| 6 | 如接连的山谷，如河旁的园子，如耶和华所栽的沉香树，如水边的香柏木。 | As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river's side, as the trees of lign aloes which the LORD hath planted, and as cedar trees beside the waters. |
| 7 | 水要从他的桶里流出。种子要撒在多水之处。他的王必超过亚甲。他的国必要振兴。 | He shall pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters, and his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted. |
| 8 | 神领他出埃及。他似乎有野牛之力。他要吞吃敌国，折断他们的骨头，用箭射透他们。 | God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows. |
| 9 | 他蹲如公狮，卧如母狮，谁敢惹他，凡给你祝福的，愿他蒙福。凡咒诅你的，愿他受咒诅。 | He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: who shall stir him up? Blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee. |
| 10 | 巴勒向巴兰生气，就拍起手来，对巴兰说，我召你来为我咒诅仇敌，不料，你这三次竟为他们祝福。 | And Balak's anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together: and Balak said unto Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast altogether blessed them these three times. |
| 11 | 如今你快回本地去吧。我想使你得大尊荣，耶和华却阻止你不得尊荣。 | Therefore now flee thou to thy place: I thought to promote thee unto great honour; but, lo, the LORD hath kept thee back from honour. |
| 12 | 巴兰对巴勒说，我岂不是对你所差遣到我那里的使者说， | And Balaam said unto Balak, Spake I not also to thy messengers which thou sentest unto me, saying, |
| 13 | 巴勒就是将他满屋的金银给我，我也不得越过耶和华的命，凭自己的心意行好行歹。耶和华说什么，我就要说什么， | If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the commandment of the LORD, to do either good or bad of mine own mind; but what the LORD saith, that will I speak? |
| 14 | 现在我要回本族去。你来，我告诉你这民日后要怎样待你的民。 | And now, behold, I go unto my people: come therefore, and I will advertise thee what this people shall do to thy people in the latter days. |
| 15 | 他就题起诗歌说，比珥的儿子巴兰说，眼目闭住（闭住或作睁开）的人说， | And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said: |
| 16 | 得听神的言语，明白至高者的意旨，看见全能者的异象，眼目睁开而仆倒的人说， | He hath said, which heard the words of God, and knew the knowledge of the most High, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open: |
| 17 | 我看他却不在现时。我望他却不在近日。有星要出于雅各，有杖要兴于以色列，必打破摩押的四角，毁坏扰乱之子。 | I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth. |
| 18 | 他必得以东为基业，又得仇敌之地西珥为产业。以色列必行事勇敢。 | And Edom shall be a possession, Seir also shall be a possession for his enemies; and Israel shall do valiantly. |
| 19 | 有一位出于雅各的，必掌大权。他要除灭城中的余民。 | Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion, and shall destroy him that remaineth of the city. |
| 20 | 巴兰观看亚玛力，就题起诗歌说，亚玛力原为诸国之首，但他终必沉沦。 | And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and said, Amalek was the first of the nations; but his latter end shall be that he perish for ever. |
| 21 | 巴兰观看基尼人，就题起诗歌说，你的住处本是坚固。你的窝巢作在岩穴中。 | And he looked on the Kenites, and took up his parable, and said, Strong is thy dwellingplace, and thou puttest thy nest in a rock. |
| 22 | 然而基尼必至衰微，直到亚述把你掳去。 | Nevertheless the Kenite shall be wasted, until Asshur shall carry thee away captive. |
| 23 | 巴兰又题起诗歌说，哀哉。神行这事，谁能得活， | And he took up his parable, and said, Alas, who shall live when God doeth this! |
| 24 | 必有人乘船从基提界而来，苦害亚述，苦害希伯。他也必至沉沦。 | And ships shall come from the coast of Chittim, and shall afflict Asshur, and shall afflict Eber, and he also shall perish for ever. |
| 25 | 于是巴兰起来，回他本地去。巴勒也回去了。 | And Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place: and Balak also went his way. |
