| 1 | 亚摩斯的儿子以赛亚得默示论巴比伦。 | The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see. |
| 2 | 应当在净光的山竖立大旗，向群众扬声招手，使他们进入贵胄的门。 | Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles. |
| 3 | 我吩咐我所挑出来的人。我招呼我的勇士，就是那矜夸高傲之辈，为要成就我怒中所定的。 | I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness. |
| 4 | 山间有多人的声音，好像是大国人民。有许多国的民聚集哄嚷的声音。这是万军之耶和华点齐军队，预备打仗。 | The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle. |
| 5 | 他们从远方来，从天边来，就是耶和华并他恼恨的兵器，要毁灭这全地。 | They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land. |
| 6 | 你们要哀号，因为耶和华的日子临近了。这日来到，好像毁灭从全能者来到。 | Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. |
| 7 | 所以人手都必软弱，人心都必消化。 | Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt: |
| 8 | 他们必惊惶悲痛。愁苦必将他们抓住。他们疼痛，好像产难的妇人一样。彼此惊奇相看，脸如火焰。 | And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. |
| 9 | 耶和华的日子临到，必有残忍，忿恨，烈怒。使这地荒凉，从其中除灭罪人。 | Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. |
| 10 | 天上的众星群宿，都不发光。日头一出，就变黑暗，月亮也不放光。 | For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. |
| 11 | 我必因邪恶，刑罚世界，因罪孽，刑罚恶人。使骄傲人的狂妄止息，制伏强暴人的狂傲。 | And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. |
| 12 | 我必使人比精金还少，使人比俄斐纯金更少。 | I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir. |
| 13 | 我万军之耶和华在忿恨中发烈怒的日子，必使天震动，使地摇撼，离其本位。 | Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger. |
| 14 | 人必像被追赶的鹿，像无人收聚的羊，各归回本族，各逃到本土。 | And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land. |
| 15 | 凡被仇敌追上的，必被刺死。凡被捉住的，必被刀杀。 | Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword. |
| 16 | 他们的婴孩，必在他们眼前摔碎。他们的房屋，必被抢夺。他们的妻子，必被玷污。 | Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished. |
| 17 | 我必激动玛代人来攻击他们。玛代人不注重银子，也不喜爱金子。 | Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it. |
| 18 | 他们必用弓击碎少年人，不怜悯妇人所生的，眼也不顾惜孩子。 | Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eyes shall not spare children. |
| 19 | 巴比伦素来为列国的荣耀，为迦勒底人所矜夸的华美，必像神所倾覆的所多玛蛾摩拉一样。 | And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. |
| 20 | 其内必永无人烟，世世代代无人居住。亚拉伯人也不在那里支搭帐棚。牧羊的人，也不使羊群卧在那里。 | It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there. |
| 21 | 只有旷野的走兽卧在那里。咆哮的兽满了房屋。鸵鸟住在那里。野山羊在那里跳舞。 | But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there. |
| 22 | 豺狼必在他宫中呼号。野狗必在他华美殿内吼叫。巴比伦受罚的时候临近，他的日子，必不长久。 | And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged. |
