| 1 | 奉神旨意，作基督耶稣使徒的保罗，写信给在以弗所的圣徒，就是在基督耶稣里有忠心的人。 | Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: |
| 2 | 愿恩惠平安，从神我们的父，和主耶稣基督，归与你们。 | Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. |
| 3 | 愿颂赞归与我们主耶稣基督的父神，他在基督里，曾赐给我们天上各样属灵的福气。 | Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: |
| 4 | 就如神从创立世界以前，在基督里拣选了我们，使我们在他面前成为圣洁，无有瑕疵。 | According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: |
| 5 | 又因爱我们，就按着自己意旨所喜悦的，预定我们，借着耶稣基督得儿子的名分， | Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, |
| 6 | 使他荣耀的恩典得着称赞。这恩典是他在爱子里所赐给我们的。 | To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. |
| 7 | 我们借这爱子的血，得蒙救赎，过犯得以赦免，乃是照他丰富的恩典。 | In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; |
| 8 | 这恩典是神用诸般智慧聪明，充充足足赏给我们的， | Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; |
| 9 | 都是照他自己所预定的美意，叫我们知道他旨意的奥秘， | Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: |
| 10 | 要照所安排的，在日期满足的时候，使天上地上一切所有的，都在基督里面同归于一。 | That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: |
| 11 | 我们也在他里面得了基业，（得或作成）这原是那位随己意行作万事的，照着他旨意所预定的。 | In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: |
| 12 | 叫他的荣耀，从我们这首先在基督里有盼望的人，可以得着称赞。 | That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. |
| 13 | 你们既听见真理的道，就是那叫你们得救的福音，也信了基督，既然信他，就受了所应许的圣灵为印记。 | In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, |
| 14 | 这圣灵，是我们得基业的凭据，（原文作质）直等到神之民（民原文作产业）被赎，使他的荣耀得着称赞。 | Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. |
| 15 | 因此，我既听见你们信从主耶稣，亲爱众圣徒， | Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, |
| 16 | 就为你们不住地感谢神，祷告的时候，常提到你们。 | Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; |
| 17 | 求我们主耶稣基督的神，荣耀的父，将那赐人智慧和启示的灵，赏给你们，使你们真知道他。 | That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: |
| 18 | 并且照明你们心中的眼睛，使你们知道他的恩召有何等指望。他在圣徒中得的基业，有何等丰盛的荣耀。 | The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, |
| 19 | 并知道他向我们这信的人所显的能力，是何等浩大， | And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, |
| 20 | 就是照他在基督身上，所运行的大能大力，使他从死里复活，叫他在天上坐在自己的右边， | Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, |
| 21 | 远超过一切执政的，掌权的，有能的，主治的，和一切有名的。不但是今世的，连来世的也都超过了。 | Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: |
| 22 | 又将万有服在他的脚下，使他为教会作万有之首。 | And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, |
| 23 | 教会是他的身体，是那充满万有者所充满的。 | Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. |
