| 1 | 当亚达薛西王年间，同我从巴比伦上来的人，他们的族长和他们的家谱记在下面。 | These are now the chief of their fathers, and this is the genealogy of them that went up with me from Babylon, in the reign of Artaxerxes the king. |
| 2 | 属非尼哈的子孙有革顺，属以他玛的子孙有但以理，属大卫的子孙有哈突。 | Of the sons of Phinehas; Gershom: of the sons of Ithamar; Daniel: of the sons of David; Hattush. |
| 3 | 属巴录的后裔，就是示迦尼的子孙有撒迦利亚，同着他，按家谱计算，男丁一百五十人。 | Of the sons of Shechaniah, of the sons of Pharosh; Zechariah: and with him were reckoned by genealogy of the males an hundred and fifty. |
| 4 | 属巴哈摩押的子孙有西拉希雅的儿子以利约乃，同着他有男丁二百。 | Of the sons of Pahathmoab; Elihoenai the son of Zerahiah, and with him two hundred males. |
| 5 | 属示迦尼的子孙有雅哈悉的儿子，同着他有男丁三百。 | Of the sons of Shechaniah; the son of Jahaziel, and with him three hundred males. |
| 6 | 属亚丁的子孙有约拿单的儿子以别，同着他有男丁五十。 | Of the sons also of Adin; Ebed the son of Jonathan, and with him fifty males. |
| 7 | 属以拦的子孙有亚他利雅的儿子耶筛亚，同着他有男丁七十。 | And of the sons of Elam; Jeshaiah the son of Athaliah, and with him seventy males. |
| 8 | 属示法提雅的子孙有米迦勒的儿子西巴第雅，同着他有男丁八十。 | And of the sons of Shephatiah; Zebadiah the son of Michael, and with him fourscore males. |
| 9 | 属约押的子孙有耶歇的儿子俄巴底亚，同着他有男丁二百一十八。 | Of the sons of Joab; Obadiah the son of Jehiel, and with him two hundred and eighteen males. |
| 10 | 属示罗密的子孙有约细斐的儿子，同着他有男丁一百六十。 | And of the sons of Shelomith; the son of Josiphiah, and with him an hundred and threescore males. |
| 11 | 属比拜的子孙有比拜的儿子撒迦利亚，同着他有男丁二十八。 | And of the sons of Bebai; Zechariah the son of Bebai, and with him twenty and eight males. |
| 12 | 属押甲的子孙有哈加坦的儿子约哈难，同着他有男丁一百一十。 | And of the sons of Azgad; Johanan the son of Hakkatan, and with him an hundred and ten males. |
| 13 | 属亚多尼干的子孙，就是末尾的，他们的名字是以利法列，耶利，示玛雅，同着他们有男丁六十。 | And of the last sons of Adonikam, whose names are these, Eliphelet, Jeiel, and Shemaiah, and with them threescore males. |
| 14 | 属比革瓦伊的子孙有乌太和撒布，同着他们有男丁七十。 | Of the sons also of Bigvai; Uthai, and Zabbud, and with them seventy males. |
| 15 | 我招聚这些人在流入亚哈瓦的河边，我们在那里住了三日。我查看百姓和祭司，见没有利未人在那里， | And I gathered them together to the river that runneth to Ahava; and there abode we in tents three days: and I viewed the people, and the priests, and found there none of the sons of Levi. |
| 16 | 就召首领以利以谢，亚列，示玛雅，以利拿单，雅立，以利拿单，拿单，撒迦利亚，米书兰，又召教习约雅立和以利拿单。 | Then sent I for Eliezer, for Ariel, for Shemaiah, and for Elnathan, and for Jarib, and for Elnathan, and for Nathan, and for Zechariah, and for Meshullam, chief men; also for Joiarib, and for Elnathan, men of understanding. |
| 17 | 我打发他们往迦西斐雅地方，去见那里的首领易多，又告诉他们当向易多和他的弟兄尼提宁说什么话，叫他们为我们神的殿带使用的人来。 | And I sent them with commandment unto Iddo the chief at the place Casiphia, and I told them what they should say unto Iddo, and to his brethren the Nethinims, at the place Casiphia, that they should bring unto us ministers for the house of our God. |
| 18 | 蒙我们神施恩的手帮助我们，他们在以色列的曾孙，利未的孙子，抹利的后裔中带一个通达人来。还有示利比和他的众子与弟兄共一十八人。 | And by the good hand of our God upon us they brought us a man of understanding, of the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel; and Sherebiah, with his sons and his brethren, eighteen; |
| 19 | 又有哈沙比雅，同着他有米拉利的子孙耶筛亚，并他的众子和弟兄共二十人。 | And Hashabiah, and with him Jeshaiah of the sons of Merari, his brethren and their sons, twenty; |
| 20 | 从前大卫和众首领派尼提宁服事利未人，现在从这尼提宁中也带了二百二十人来，都是按名指定的。 | Also of the Nethinims, whom David and the princes had appointed for the service of the Levites, two hundred and twenty Nethinims: all of them were expressed by name. |
| 21 | 那时，我在亚哈瓦河边宣告禁食，为要在我们神面前克苦己心，求他使我们和妇人孩子，并一切所有的，都得平坦的道路。 | Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahava, that we might afflict ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance. |
| 22 | 我求王拨步兵马兵帮助我们抵挡路上的仇敌，本以为羞耻。因我曾对王说，我们神施恩的手必帮助一切寻求他的。但他的能力和忿怒，必攻击一切离弃他的。 | For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him. |
| 23 | 所以我们禁食祈求我们的神，他就应允了我们。 | So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was intreated of us. |
| 24 | 我分派祭司长十二人，就是示利比，哈沙比雅，和他们的弟兄十人， | Then I separated twelve of the chief of the priests, Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brethren with them, |
| 25 | 将王和谋士，军长，并在那里的以色列众人为我们神殿所献的金银和器皿，都秤了交给他们。 | And weighed unto them the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, even the offering of the house of our God, which the king, and his counsellors, and his lords, and all Israel there present, had offered: |
| 26 | 我秤了交在他们手中的银子有六百五十他连得。银器重一百他连得。金子一百他连得。 | I even weighed unto their hand six hundred and fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels an hundred talents, and of gold an hundred talents; |
| 27 | 金碗二十个，重一千达利克。上等光铜的器皿两个，宝贵如金。 | Also twenty basons of gold, of a thousand drams; and two vessels of fine copper, precious as gold. |
| 28 | 我对他们说，你们归耶和华为圣，器皿也为圣。金银是甘心献给耶和华你们列祖之神的。 | And I said unto them, Ye are holy unto the LORD; the vessels are holy also; and the silver and the gold are a freewill offering unto the LORD God of your fathers. |
| 29 | 你们当儆醒看守，直到你们在耶路撒冷耶和华殿的库内，在祭司长和利未族长，并以色列的各族长面前过了秤。 | Watch ye, and keep them, until ye weigh them before the chief of the priests and the Levites, and chief of the fathers of Israel, at Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of the LORD. |
| 30 | 于是，祭司，利未人按着分量接受金银和器皿，要带到耶路撒冷我们神的殿里。 | So took the priests and the Levites the weight of the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, to bring them to Jerusalem unto the house of our God. |
| 31 | 正月十二日，我们从亚哈瓦河边起行，要往耶路撒冷去。我们神的手保佑我们，救我们脱离仇敌和路上埋伏之人的手。 | Then we departed from the river of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go unto Jerusalem: and the hand of our God was upon us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy, and of such as lay in wait by the way. |
| 32 | 我们到了耶路撒冷，在那里住了三日。 | And we came to Jerusalem, and abode there three days. |
| 33 | 第四日，在我们神的殿里把金银和器皿都秤了，交在祭司乌利亚的儿子米利末的手中。同着他有非尼哈的儿子以利亚撒，还有利未人耶书亚的儿子约撒拔和宾内的儿子挪亚底。 | Now on the fourth day was the silver and the gold and the vessels weighed in the house of our God by the hand of Meremoth the son of Uriah the priest; and with him was Eleazar the son of Phinehas; and with them was Jozabad the son of Jeshua, and Noadiah the son of Binnui, Levites; |
| 34 | 当时都点了数目，按着分量写在册上。 | By number and by weight of every one: and all the weight was written at that time. |
| 35 | 从掳到之地归回的人向以色列的神献燔祭，就是为以色列众人献公牛十二只，公绵羊九十六只，绵羊羔七十七只，又献公山羊十二只作赎罪祭，这都是向耶和华焚献的。 | Also the children of those that had been carried away, which were come out of the captivity, offered burnt offerings unto the God of Israel, twelve bullocks for all Israel, ninety and six rams, seventy and seven lambs, twelve he goats for a sin offering: all this was a burnt offering unto the LORD. |
| 36 | 他们将王的谕旨交给王所派的总督与河西的省长，他们就帮助百姓，又供给神殿里所需用的。 | And they delivered the king's commissions unto the king's lieutenants, and to the governors on this side the river: and they furthered the people, and the house of God. |
