| 1 | 这些事以后，神要试验亚伯拉罕，就呼叫他说，亚伯拉罕，他说，我在这里。 | And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. |
| 2 | 神说，你带着你的儿子，就是你独生的儿子，你所爱的以撒，往摩利亚地去，在我所要指示你的山上，把他献为燔祭。 | And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. |
| 3 | 亚伯拉罕清早起来，备上驴，带着两个仆人和他儿子以撒，也劈好了燔祭的柴，就起身往神所指示他的地方去了。 | And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him. |
| 4 | 到了第三日，亚伯拉罕举目远远地看见那地方。 | Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off. 022:005 And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you. |
| 5 | 亚伯拉罕对他的仆人说，你们和驴在此等候，我与童子往那里去拜一拜，就回到你们这里来。 | |
| 6 | 亚伯拉罕把燔祭的柴放在他儿子以撒身上，自己手里拿着火与刀。于是二人同行。 | And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together. |
| 7 | 以撒对他父亲亚伯拉罕说，父亲哪，亚伯拉罕说，我儿，我在这里。以撒说，请看，火与柴都有了，但燔祭的羊羔在哪里呢？ | And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? |
| 8 | 亚伯拉罕说，我儿，神必自己预备作燔祭的羊羔。于是二人同行。 | And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. |
| 9 | 他们到了神所指示的地方，亚伯拉罕在那里筑坛，把柴摆好，捆绑他的儿子以撒，放在坛的柴上。 | And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. |
| 10 | 亚伯拉罕就伸手拿刀，要杀他的儿子。 | And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son. |
| 11 | 耶和华的使者从天上呼叫他说，亚伯拉罕，亚伯拉罕，他说，我在这里。 | And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. |
| 12 | 天使说，你不可在这童子身上下手。一点不可害他。现在我知道你是敬畏神的了。因为你没有将你的儿子，就是你独生的儿子，留下不给我。 | And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me. |
| 13 | 亚伯拉罕举目观看，不料，有一只公羊，两角扣在稠密的小树中，亚伯拉罕就取了那只公羊来，献为燔祭，代替他的儿子。 | And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. |
| 14 | 亚伯拉罕给那地方起名叫耶和华以勒（意思就是耶和华必预备），直到今日人还说，在耶和华的山上必有预备。 | And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen. |
| 15 | 耶和华的使者第二次从天上呼叫亚伯拉罕说， | And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, |
| 16 | 耶和华说，你既行了这事，不留下你的儿子，就是你独生的儿子，我便指着自己起誓说， | And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: |
| 17 | 论福，我必赐大福给你。论子孙，我必叫你的子孙多起来，如同天上的星，海边的沙。你子孙必得着仇敌的城门， | That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; |
| 18 | 并且地上万国都必因你的后裔得福，因为你听从了我的话。 | And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice. |
| 19 | 于是亚伯拉罕回到他仆人那里，他们一同起身往别是巴去，亚伯拉罕就住在别是巴。 | So Abraham returned unto his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beersheba; and Abraham dwelt at Beersheba. |
| 20 | 这事以后，有人告诉亚伯拉罕说，密迦给你兄弟拿鹤生了几个儿子， | And it came to pass after these things, that it was told Abraham, saying, Behold, Milcah, she hath also born children unto thy brother Nahor; |
| 21 | 长子是乌斯，他的兄弟是布斯和亚兰的父亲基母利， | Huz his firstborn, and Buz his brother, and Kemuel the father of Aram, |
| 22 | 并基薛，哈琐，必达，益拉，彼土利（彼土利生利百加）。 | And Chesed, and Hazo, and Pildash, and Jidlaph, and Bethuel. |
| 23 | 这八个人都是密迦给亚伯拉罕的兄弟拿鹤生的。 | And Bethuel begat Rebekah: these eight Milcah did bear to Nahor, Abraham's brother. |
| 24 | 拿鹤的妾名叫流玛，生了提八，迦含，他辖，和玛迦。 | And his concubine, whose name was Reumah, she bare also Tebah, and Gaham, and Thahash, and Maachah. |
