Which format is this?

This test follows the renewed HSK 3.0 format, published by Chinese Testing International in December 2025 and due to apply from July 2026.

Sittings for levels 1 to 6 still use the previous format at the time of writing, and no changeover date has been announced. If your exam is soon, expect the older paper on the day.

The vocabulary is the same either way: the HSK 3.0 word list is what you have to know for both formats, and that is what this test drills.

Listening

Each recording is played twice in a row.

Part 1 (1–10)

Listen to each conversation, then choose the matching picture from A to F. Each picture is used once at most.
